Isabelle is now 15 months old. Wow. This sure does go by fast. She is so much fun. We have a blast with her every day! She has a wide vocabulary and can say all sorts of words now. Go is a new favorite. She can pretty much say anything if she is in the right mood. We have been having her pracitice saying names of everyone in our family...some days she is really good at repeating us, others she doesn't feel like performing I guess. She has also expanded her animal noises too. She knows what sounds dogs, cats, elephants, snakes, lions, tigers, bears, sheep, chickens, ducks, pigs make. She is too funny when she practices jumping! She just bends her knees, gets down and pops up without her feet ever leaving the ground. She loves to dance to her bear that plays "Jesus Loves Me." She picks him up and sways around with him, sometimes she just dances which is a combination of deep knee bends and twirling too. (I have a video but can't figure out how to upload it. It was taken on the camera instead of the video camera and I don't know how to do it that way!) She can do the motions to Itsy Bitsy Spider. This morning, I realized she has her 1st molars in already...probably have been there for a week or so! She is also getting her lateral incisors on the bottom and the 1st molars on the bottom too. They are right there...just need to pop thru! Isabelle has been getting in to the habit of sitting my lap when she eats. She will say she's all done and then climb up on my lap to see what's on my plate. Usually its more appetizing than what she had on hers...even though its the same thing!
Isabelle's 15 month check-up was on 6/29. She's a perfect little girl, ahead developmentally too so that's great!! I am so thankful for her good health! She weighed 20lbs 9oz (25% percentile) and was 29inches tall (10% percentile). She's a shorty!!
