Wow, 11 months....where did the time go? Isabelle is a busy little girl. Busy Izzy. She is walking all over the place. Some days she doesn't really even play with her toys, she just picks them up and carries them around, exploring the house. Whenever she can get her hands on a remote, she'll carry that around all day! Actually, today she put one remote in the toilet. Nice! We try to keep the bathroom door shut - looks like we'll have to get more consistent with that! Isabelle recently began pointing at everything with just one teeny finger and making a little verbalization with it. Its cute. Sometimes instead of pointing, she'll motion towards something, palm facing upward, Vanna White style. Its like she's showing off everything in her sight or asking questions about it. It would be so cool to know what she is really thinking and saying.
Miss Belle has begun babbling 'mama' more often now and sometimes, I really think she is saying it to get my attention. I'd like to think so anyway. Her other favorite babble is 'duck-a duck-a duck-a.' Its so darn cute. If you say it to her, she'll say it back.
Recently, Isabelle has become very attached to one of her blankets. Its super-soft, white with multi-colored polka dots. She loves to cuddle it. She has it when she naps and goes to bed at night. She has been sleeping ok....it was rough there when she was getting her latest teeth (the top 2). On days she goes to daycare, she is fast asleep by 7pm. She usually sleeps til 4 or 5am and then wakes up to babble or sometimes eat but usually falls back to sleep until 7-7:30.
Isabelle now has 4 teeth and eats 3 meals a day and a snack or two. Most days she's a good eater but has her moments. We have been working on the sign language for 'all done' and 'more' for quite a while now. I think she's catching on to 'all done.' Her favorite food is still pasta with some sort of marinara sauce...lasagna, spaghetti, chicken parmasean. And peas.
