1st Birthday Party!!

Isabelle's 1st birthday party was today! It was so much fun! Since she's a St. Patty's Day baby, the theme was easy...we had an all-green, shamrock bash - a big St. Patty's Day birthday party! She was a little shy at the beginning but she began to recognize faces and was finally able to get down from my arms! I thought she was going to be glued to me the whole day! We ended up serving the meal there since the weather was cold and rainy and we wouldn't be able to use our deck -it wouldn't have been fun to try to fit everyone in our house. After that, we opened lots of cool presents and then it was cake time. Isabelle's Aunt Nanny made the cakes...they were beautiful! And very delicious! Isabelle posed with her cake with us and then blew out her candle. She didn't even cry when it was time to sing...I thought for sure she would burst into tears! Isabelle enjoyed her cake and green icing! She made a nice little mess digging into her cake. Overall, it was a really fun party!
