Isabelle's first Christmas was spent at Grandma and Grandpa Smith's house. Santa came to visit and left Isabelle all sorts of fun presents! We slept in (since Iz kept us up late!) and then opened presents as the snow kept falling. Here's some pictures!

We had plans to go to Grandma Arla's house to celebrate Christmas but big surprise...the snow kept everyone home! Nick and Angie, TJ & Erin, Adam & Lora...everyone was snowed in at their own places. Except for Ryan - who made a few trips to Spencer and back on the snowmobile. We had big snow day plans....playing with Isabelle and her new toys, playing Wii, watching The Hangover....then the electricity went out! Isabelle was napping so Mom, Ryan, Daniel and I played cards and had some beers. Thankfully the electricity came on long enough to heat up leftovers from the night before, but then it went out again! We were without power from about 11am til 4:30pm. The house was starting to get cold...Isabelle had to wear her hat! It was fun to be snowed in with mom and dad. We spent the day hangin out in our PJ's and just having fun. It would have been fun if we could have played Wii but we had old school ~ playing games! We learned how to play a new card game....kinda of. Daniel accused mom of making up the rules as she went! It was funny! It was definitly a 1st Christmas to remember!!
