Smith Christmas

And everyone was supposed to cut back this year......

Isabelle and cousin Eden

Uncle Nick had his tonsils out on New Year's Eve day. Poor guy couldn't eat or drink anything...he wasn't supposed to anyway. What is it with men not listening to Dr's orders?

Opening gifts
Isabelle loves her new bath dolly and its toys. This doll hasn't had her pants on since we got her.

Grandpa Tim & Grandma Rita with the grandkids. Courtney 21, Bryson 6, Bennett 6, Grant 8, Isabelle 21 mos, Eden 6 mos, Ethan 1 mo. & Avery 4.

Aunt Lora and Uncle Adam with Ethan
Isabelle and Avery singing "You are my sunshine."
We celebrated Christmas with the Smith side over New Year's. Adam and Lora decided to come back over this weekend instead of Christmas to get better airfares. Its ridiculous how much airlines can charge over the holidays! It worked out well for everyone. They had just gotten back from a trip to South America so we got to see a slideshow of all their pics. It must be amazing there, the waterfalls, the views, the old abandoned villages, etc. The pics were just beautiful. I can't even imagine how beautiful it must be in person. They had been studying Spanish and reading up on the history of some of these places they were going to visit when they were there. They even took dancing lessons! They had a great time and we enjoyed hearing about all their adventures.
We celebrated Christmas on New Year's Day with my parents and brothers and their families. It was nice. We got to sit around and talk and play games. It wasn't just eating and then opening gifts and running home to get the kids in bed. It was a nice, relaxing time and it was even better because all the kids played downstairs so it was quiet for a change!!
