We spent a week at my parents' house over New Year's. It was a lot of fun to just be able to hang out and relax a little. It was much slower paced than other times we have celebrated Christmas up there. Ok, maybe the 2nd part of the week was. The first couple of days were were busy cleaning and getting ready for the weekend since mom and dad were hosting both our Christmas and Christmas for Dad's side. My brother and his wife were home from San Fransisco and my aunt was back from Los Angeles so we had a lot of family time. Maybe it seemed a little more relaxed this time because both Daniel and I were off work and there wasn't a rush to get back home. It was nice.
