Since we all had a late night after the party, we took it easy this morning and lounged around. We had every intention of making it to a parade today.....the Windsor Heights didn't start until 3pm. Perfect!

The kids fell asleep on the way over. We were lucky enough to get a shady spot so Isabelle continued her nap and Ethan played and hammed it up for the camera while we waited.

After the parade, we went to a park to play for a bit. Ethan loves his stroller and being outside. He was all smiles!

Playing and climbing

The 4th of the July wouldn't be complete with out a trip to Classic Frozen Custard!! Any summer night, really. We go there a lot. Maybe a little too much. Its so good! Its addicting!! And its right down the street from our house....dangerous!

Ethan got his first taste of the good stuff today. I'm pretty sure he liked it.

A well-needed bath after a big day of playing.

Cashed out before the fireworks even started. Before we even found a place to park! We could have just went home to bed but where's the fun in that? We did wake her up for the show. She wasn't thrilled with us she enjoyed them anyway. Just quiet this time, no tears and not near as scarey since they weren't as close as the ones we watched the night before.

Ethan liked his first fireworks show. He looks a little cconfused in this pic.
