Isabelle had tobe in the picture too. She looks so thrilled but really, it was all her idea.
Ethan is 9 months old today!! He had his well-child visit today too. He was 18lbs 8oz and 27 inches long. The regular nurse measured him this time and said she thought the nurse that did it at the last visit must have been off...I figured that too. I think he was only 25 inches at 6 months. Oh well. Ethan checked out A-okay developmentally and physically.....except for his ears. He got an ear infection in late July and was on amoxicillin for that. A week ago, I took him back in for another (or the same) ear infection so he started on omnicef. Today, his ears were STILL infected. We are setting up an ENT consult for tubes. I am leaning towards just getting it done. Right now, he is happy most of the time but other days he's whiney, clingy and doesn't sleep well at night. Maybe tubes won't fix any of that but I also don't want his hearing to be affected or him to be in pain or discomfort from extra fluid in his ears.
