We went home since I had to work 1 night but then on Monday, I decided to head back north because the fair only happens once a year. And what else was I going to do that week? Really? Classes at the Y? That's about it. So we snuck away for more fun at the fair. This was also my last week before I started my weekend position at work so I thought I better live it up.
We checked out Grandpa's Barn again - but this time Isabelle got to hold some of the animals. The Fahnlander girls (cousins with our cousins, Grant and Bryson) were being good 4-Hers and helping out with it. It was so cute, Callie says, "Is her name Isabelle?" Those girls have a lot of fun with Isabelle. They got out some of the little animals for her to hold. It pays to have connections in Grandpa's Barn.

Baby piggies. Like the hat with the hood? Not sure why she's dressed like that...

Ethan was a little hesitant to touch the bunny. I bet next year, it will be a whole different story. Those animals will be afraid of him!

Baby chicks.

Isabelle LOVES kitties!! Just LOVES them. Too bad Dad is allergic.

The goats are always fun to play with. In the big sheep barn, a sheep "baa'ed" at Isabelle and she freaked out. It was kinda funny. It really scared her. She still talks about it to this day!

Milking the cow...
The weather did a 180 in just a day or two. It was nice and sunny for the weekend and then freezing cold and windy for the following week. I had to buy the kids new winter hats and matching mittens.
We also made a trip to SL to hang with the other cousins. Ethan and Eden had fun checking out the music table.
