This was an exhausting week!
It started off with Ethan's surgery - for real this time! I got off work a couple hours early to get him there on time and checked in. It went really well this time. He was a bit fussy and sleepy afterwards but at least it happened this time! I ended up only getting about 90min of sleep that day which was kinda rough but I made it. Ethan didn't sleep very well that week either - he was in our bed most nights which means that I didn't get caught up on my sleep that week either! Isabelle started swimming lessons this week at the Y. They were a bust though because she was in an advanced class so she moved down a step to a more appropriate class. The only problem was that she didn't like her teacher, who was a male. She wouldn't even go sit with her class so I chalked it up to a loss, got my money back and decided we would do lessons in the fall. We had playdates everyday this week! We met a friend from the Y with her kids at a wading pool on Tuesday, Wednesday we went to Tot Time at the Indianola pool and had a picnic with friends from work, and Thursday we met another friend at a different wading pool. Daniel and I took Isabelle to see her first movie in the theater, Brave. She loved it. It was a fun experience for her. Friday watched my hairdressers kids in the morning and then took my kids to daycare for the afternoon so I could take a quick nap before work. Whew! What a busy week!!
To top it all off, my pictures weren't uploading to my computer so I didn't know how I was going to get them on the computer. So I transferred 4190 pictures to discs and started to put them on the computer that way. Then someone mentioned to me that I could just take the SD card from the camera and put that in the computer....oh yeah, that was much easier!! So that's another reason I was/got behind on this blog!! (and I just take too many pictures)
Before surgery:
After surgery:
Swimming lessons - her first class. The teacher had the kids take those float bars and hold themselves up with those and kick across the pool....Isabelle wasn't able to do that. I don't even think she tried because she was scared!
At Crivaro....
At Tot Time....
At a different wading pool.... Isabelle and Hallie are only 12 days apart and in the same daycare room. Its fun to watch them play together.
Landon and Ethan - about 8 months apart.
First time in a movie theater - Brave. She was mesmerized!
