Today Isabelle is 8 weeks old. Its hard to believe! We went to Mommy and Me today. Its a breastfeeding group that is held at the hosptial. Isabelle weighed 11 lbs!! She is growing fast and on schedule - she is already making us proud!! What a good girl! We are also making friends at thid group. Isabelle is so alert and curious....always looking around at the babies. Today she was making friends with a little girl - they were looking at eachother, just studying eachother. Too cute!
Tonight Daniel tried giving her a bottle while I was here. Not such a good idea. She hadn't been given a bottle for almost a week so was pretty upset about it. And since I was here, she was really ticked! I couldn't take it, I had to rescue her after she started screaming the kind of scream that makes your throat hurt. Yikes. Poor baby. After she settled down, she ended up taking part of the bottle from me.......which really surprised me! Everyone says that babies won't take a bottle from their mom if they are breastfed. Anyway, she ate like a little pig tonight and went to bed around 8:30pm. Maybe she will sleep until 5am again......?
