Since I worked Thanksgiving, we drove up to my parents' for the weekend. Also, it had been about 6-7 weeks since we had seen my family. Fall gets so busy...with all the harvesting and fieldwork, etc. It was good to see them again! Friday we drove to my aunt's house for a family dinner. My cousin and his family were back from Denver - it was great to see them! They hadn't met Isabelle so that was a treat. Isabelle was a bit frightened by my cousin John - I had never seen such a scared face in my life! But by the end of the night, she was able to let him hold her for a while. Mom and Dad had cousins Bennett and Avery for the weekend so that was fun for Isabelle to play with them. Mom had a dinner on Sunday so we got together with more family. It was great to see them. A nice weekend with lots of time spent with family. Although, Isabelle was a bit clingy this weekend...didn't even like to go to Daddy at times! She wore me out!
