6 month check up, playdate at the zoo

Ethan had his 6 month check up today. 16lbs 10oz (25%-50%) and 27inches (80-90%). If he keeps this up, he'll be taller than his sister in no time. Just for fun, Isabelle was 16lbs 6.5oz and 25 inches long at her 6 month check up. And if I remember right, 25 inches long was pushing it.

After his appointment, we met up with some gals from work and their kids at the zoo. We had only been to the zoo one other time besides NightEyes at Halloween. Isabelle enjoyed it a lot more this time around. And her friend Halle from school was there so that made it more fun too. It was so cute because when we first got there, Isabelle just wanted to go down the slides even though everyone one else was in the sandbox. When we rounded everyone up to leave the play area, she realized Halle was there. They were so excited, hugging and holding hands everywhere they went! Too cute! They had a dinosaur exhibit that our friends had already went through and had warned us that it might scare her. But when we went through it, Isabelle was so excited! She didn't care that they were making loud noises or were big moving animals. It was weird, I was expecting a clingy girl. But since everyone else had already seen them, they weren't scared so maybe that just rubbed off on her. Ethan liked the zoo too. He slept through most of it.
