Isabelle began Tiny Tumblers at the Y today. Even though she was the youngest one there, she wasn't shy at all! We started with singing some songs - Isabelle just took it all in, she loves watching the bigger kids! We did Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes, The Hokey Pokey and The Itsy Bitsy Spider. Then we learned how to do somersaults and log rolls. Isabelle was actually pretty good at somersaults! I was surprised she seemed to pick up on it after the first time. Log rolls were a different story. I flipped her over and she just laid there, it was almost like a belly flop. Then I flipped her again, trying to get her to do a continuous roll...not so much. She just laid there, looking at me, waiting for me to flip her again. She loved to just run around and play on the squishy mats. They had all different colors of balls to play with too. She got knocked down once by a bigger boy but she bounced back pretty quickly. It was a fun little class and she got to meet some new friends!
