Sleeping on Daddy's chest.Daniel and I went out for a bit tonight. It was nice to get away for a short amount of adult time and it was surprisingly a lot easier to do this time around. Ethan is only a month old and I left him in someone else's care. Wow. I don't know when I first did that with Isabelle but it wasn't at a month old. My friend Carrie was back in town from Seattle and she put together a multi-functional party for her friends here. She is raising money for a TNT marathon in Vancouver this spring so she planned a fundraiser event at the bar with vendors and raffle prizes, the whole nine yards and invited her friends for a happy hour. It was 2 for 1 all night so that was even better! I forgot how much I missed beer. Nothing fancy for me, just an ice cold Miller Lite. They hit the spot...ok enough about the beer. No pics from the event - forgot I even had my camera with me. It was great to see Carrie and catch up with some old friends. I miss that girl.
Daniel's nieces came over to stay with the kids and they had a blast. Isabelle loves her cousins and she loves having someone to play that doesn't make her get ready for bed. The night went well and Ethan even took a bottle!
