A trip up north

This is the first time it really occured to me that they might look like eachother.

The kids and I went to my parents' house again. This time it was because my grandmother was getting married! It was a surprise to us all, even her. They got the entire wedding planned in about 2 weeks. We left on a Wednesday and the wedding was Sunday. Daniel had just gone back to work that week and I wanted to spend more than just a weekend up there so we left and planned to be gone til Monday. The weather had different ideas. When the weather got bad up there, it was ok at home. Then when it was better up there, it was worse at home. So we ended up staying until Thursday! Dad wanted to go to a farm show of some sort here in town so he left early in the morning and Mom rode with me and the kids. It was nice to have some company that was awake for the ride back!
